A Clark Savage mini quiz
Our webmasters online name is Clark Savage Jr. in an obvious tip of the hat to Doc Savage. Recently due to the proliferation of people using that name, he added the letters TGA behind his name. Does anyone know that those initials stand for?

I would venture a guess that it would tie into the pulp origins of the name, but am at a loss as to how. Doc Savage was published by Street and Smith. Most written by Lester Dent under the house name Kenneth Robeson. Maybe "The Grand Alias?"

A hint... Disgusted that others sought to use his name, our Clark Savage Jr. added those initials to make clear his claim to the name. So there is no clasical reference there.

I must admit, that I am flattered by the attention. Let it be known to one and all that I have decided not to reveal the secret of my initials, since, at my advanced age I don't remember what they mean. I do recall that their exact meaning is sealed in a safe at the Fortress of Solitude and if I can ever remember where the fortress is I will look them up and let you know then.

Just as I was about to reveal the true meaning of TGA, the guy wants it kept a secret? Sheesh...

If you remember what they stand for, Professor, go right ahead.

For those inquiring minds that needed to know... TGA stands for "THE GENUINE ARTICLE": lol
