We all know that Wild Bill Elliott wore his sixguns reversed in their holsters........what other screen cowboy emulated this look in later years?

"The Arizona Cowboy," Rex Allen, Sr. wore a single gun holster set with handle reversed like "Wild Bill" Elliott. Tim Holt in some of his pics. wore a double holster set. One gun was in holster usual way, one had handle reversed like "Wild Bill" Elliott.
I think that should cover all the bases.

The answer I was looking for was Rex Allen..... I never have seen the film in which Tim Holt wore one gun reversed...interesting. I was always bothered by Holt letting the leather tie down thongs for his holsters just hang loose...but I guess he thought it made for a good "look".

Hey, those little tid-bits were interesting. Would like to know the title of the Holt western where he wears his 2 guns different if anyone knows. And was John Wayne the only one that wore his hat chin cord in back of his head? And Buster Crabbe as Billy Carson usually wore his hat cocked back on his head - which I didn't care for brecause everyone knows the lower your hat is in the front, the more manly you are (of course I'd never say that to Busters face). Should be an easy one -- which cowboy star usually didn't carry a gun at all?

Well......I know that Hoot Gibson never really officially carried a gun, but he often would stuff one into his belt......
