Charles Starrett appeared for years as the venerable masked avenger The Durango Kid........ but altho he used the first name of Steve in most all the pictures... he had a penchant to use a different last name in many of them. Any idea of how many different Steves there were in the Durango Kid series?

Reynold, Rollins, Holden, Martin, Brent, Baldwin, Ransom, Ramsey, Drave, Forsythe, Carson, Brandon, Lawton, Blake, Woods, Norman, Armitage, Duncan, Saunders, Allen, Warren, Lanning, Noris, Waring, Lacey, Larkin, Langley, Haley, Haverly, Harmon, Randall, Godfrey, Godron, Landrey,Stewart, Buckner, Williams, Lindsey, Holden, Blaydon and Lowrey. I apologize if I have duplicated any of the names. Smiley
