In 1945, Chopin's "Polonaise in A-flat," featured in the movie "A Song to Remember," was given lyrics and turned into a gigantic hit as "Till the End of Time." (An Jose Iturbi piano recording under the original title was also a success in 1945.) And that same year, the memorable Chopin melody was also the cornerstone of a Broadway musical. What was the name of that show?

I'm not sure that this is the answer because I cannot believe that the trivia is getting so tough....but there was a very short-lived show called " Polonaise." Could that be it?

It sure could be "Polonaise," jdm. The stars were Jan Kiepura and Marta Eggerth. The show had only a modest run. From "Space Patrol" to Broadway--you seem able to cover all bases. Congratulations!
