Does anyone recall the famous Jolson-like voice that appeared in the fifties and occasioned many appearances on the Milton Berle Show?

Okay.......I guess we picked one nobody knew.......his name was Norman Brooks and he was from Canada and released a few albums of Jolson Songs. He sounded just like him.

Jolson had such a great voice. A web site devoted to Jolson has a large collection of songs one can listen to many not easily elsewhere available. www.jolson.org

Norman Brooks..I remember that name now. I think I associated him more with Ed Sullivan.
