Update on Philip R. Cable's New Movies

Philip R Cable (2/6/03 2:21 pm)

Hi everyone. Since Mr Mason kindly mentioned that some of my feature films would be coming out on tape last month I thought that I'd give you an update on the matter. The videos of four of my feature films are being sold through DRACULINA CINE. If your local video store doesn't carry the video then you can order it directly from the pages of DRACULINA magazine.

For those who have been wondering why I disappeared from the Nostalgia League Message Boards for several months....well, that's a long story but I'll simplify it.
In Feb of 2002 my wife and I were in a very bad car wreck leaving both of us disabled. I feel very fortunate that The Masons were good enough to e-mail me from time to time over the past many months and their well wishes were greatly appreciated. Several of my movie projects had to be cancelled due to ill health. Instead I devoted myself to finishing some post production, writing some scripts, and making some video deals like the one mentioned above. It's a been a difficult year but things could have been a lot worse. My wife and I came very close to dying in that wreck and while there was some permanent damage to one of my internal organs I am still around to grouse about it. God willing, when my heath improves I will be making features again. Hopefully soon.

Anyway with Valentines Day so near, take a little time to tell those you love how much they mean to you. Believe me, things can happen and tomorrow they might not be here to tell.It will mean a lot to them and even more to you.

Best regards
Philip R. Cable

Just in case anyone is interested, a friend of mine just wrote me that an FYE store was carrying my movies. You might want to check out you local FYE to see if they are available there as well. My movies aside, I have been picking up a number of my public domain DVD's from FYE for six dollars or less. You might want to dig through the bargin bin of that store yourself. You never know what you might find. Best regards, Philip R. Cable

For Your Entertainment?

I am not absolutely sure what FYE stands for but my wife and I also assume that it stands for For Your Entertainment. If anyone finds out anything different let me know.

Thanks for the kind words Crimson (or is that Mr Webmaster?). I'll do do an update every so often if you like.
