All,
What are some of your favorite all-time movies and/or plays?
I especially like the Sound of Music, Dr. Zhivago, and almost anything with Cary Grant. The plays I've enjoyed most are anything Shakespearean and Pippin.

I agree with Todd 3D. Raiders of the Lost Ark was the perfect movie. I saw it on first release at age 30 and was as excited as a little kidchakmah (3/5/03 8:20 am)
Todd,
Wow, that's quite a list. But I guess I should expect no less from such a movie buff [:)] .
From your list I especially like Casablanca, My Fair Lady,The Music Man, anything James Bond, anything Hitchcock, and typically anything in the Star Trek series from Next Generation on.
I'd also add as favorite movies Carousel, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Roman Holiday, Arsenic and Old Lace, Charade, Two for the Road, etc.
(Obviously Audrey Hepburn is another favorite actress and Troy Donahue as an actor. Of course on the TV side I'd add Marlo Thomas and what-his-name who played Donald on "That Girl")
I see that you ARE into 3-D movies.
What is the significance of "Patricia King, KOTPR"?
How about plays? What are your favorites there?
Pam
Hi Pam:
My favorites are the entire series of Charlie Chan, Sherlock Holmes, Mr. Moto, and Mr. Wong films. I am also a big fan of serials and B-westerns. Finally I enjoy all the other series films from the thirties and forties such as: Andy Hardy, The Thin Man, Blondie, Bomba, Bowery Boys, The Falcon, The Saint, Boston Blackie, Nancy Drew, Mexican Spitfire, Maisie, Henry Aldrich, and The Crime Doctor.
Bill, Yes I enjoyed reading the Nancy Drew series of books. And I've got to look further into the other items on your list. Thank you!
Speaking of Nancy Drew, that brings up another topic:
All, what are your favorite alltime books and authors, especially those you read as a child?
Pam
You know, I haven't seen the Bond movie I haven't liked yet. Loved all of them, even the ones that weren't an official part of the series (the two Casino Royales and Never Say Never Again).
I haven't seen as many plays as I probably should have, but favorites among the ones I have seen would be Arsenic and Old Lace (saw the 1980s revival with Gary Sandy, Jean Stapleton, Marion Ross, Jonathan Frid, and Larry Storch), a little known thriller called Blood Money, and Conversations With My Father.
Never really got into Star Trek.
Patricia King was the lead character in a film I wrote called King of the Park Rangers. That's where the quote comes from.
