NOTES:
     ¹Issue 240 features a Bill Wright comic story.
Issue 244 is a 100 page issue that features examples of all the artists who have worked on the Mickey newspaper strip, along with a Gottfredson story and also the first week of the newspaper strip drawn by Ub Iwerks.
Issue 245 features a sequence by Bill Wright.
Issues 254-256 feature comic book stories by Italian artist Romano Scarpa with 256 devoted to one long story.
     ²Dan (Daan) Jippes is an artist from the Netherlands, who gained fame as an artist on both Mickey and Donald. He relocated to the US in the late 70s and worked as a staff artist for Disney.
     ³Wright pencilled the Mickey Mouse serials that ran in Walt Disney's Comics and Stories from the late 40s to the early 50s and also inked many of the newspaper strips.
     ⁴Murad Gumen, whose work appeared in publications as varied as Cracked, Playboy and Heavy Metal worked for a time as a Disney staff artist.
     ⁵Romano Scarpa is one of the best known Italian Disney artists, and considered to be the heir to Gottfredson when it comes to Mickey. He also worked on Donald and Scrooge.
