2Dan (Daan) Jippes is an artist from the Netherlands, who gained fame as an artist on both Mickey and Donald. He relocated to the US in the late 70s and worked as a staff artist for Disney.
3Wright pencilled the Mickey Mouse serials that ran in Walt Disney's Comics and Stories from the late 40s to the early 50s and also inked many of the newspaper strips.
4Murad Gumen, whose work appeared in publications as varied as Cracked, Playboy and Heavy Metal worked for a time as a Disney staff artist.
5Romano Scarpa is one of the best known Italian Disney artists, and considered to be the heir to Gottfredson when it comes to Mickey. He also worked on Donald and Scrooge. |
