The Closet from 20,000 Fathoms

The Avenger 3-The Sky Walker
The 3rd volume of the reprint series. By all accounts, these tales of The Avenger were written by Paul Ernst under the house name of Robeson. 1st Printing from 1972.
Fantasy Classics 5 inside back cover
The inside back cover of Fantasy Classics #5 had this table of contents for issue #6. Unfortunately, it was never published.
Before She Kills by Frederic Brown
Just found in the back of the closet: Vol. 2 of the Dennis McMillan Fredric Brown series. Paperback edition from 1984.
The Firebrand by George Challis
George Challis was one of the pseudonyms for Frederick Faust, the creator of Dr. Kildare. You might also recognize one of his other pen names: Max Brand!
Golden Age Greats 6 Fighting Females
With the 6th issue, Black changed the format to about equal amounts of text and comics. Although the comic reprints were missed, the informative text more than made up for them. Art by Baker, Mayo, Kubert, and Shores, among others.
Jimmy Olsen 131 Giant
The cover does not do justice to the wackiness of the contents. Kirby started his run on the title with #133.
Marvel Super-Heroes Special 1
Probably the neatest special Marvel ever produced. Not only do you get Bill Everett on the Daredevil story and Kirby on the Avengers, but the Torch/Sub-Mariner story is from Marvel Mystery Comics #8.
The Lost God by John Russell
A collection from 1947. Russell was widely printed in the 40s, but is virtually forgotten today.
Don Rosa's Comics and Stories 1
Before he did Ducks, Rosa chronicled the ongoing saga of Lance Pertwillaby, beginning in 1971 for his college newspaper. Later episodes ran in the Rocket's Blast Comicollector. This is a reprint collection from 1983.
Comic-Con International 2000 Program Book
By this point, Comic-Con International had grown to fill a good portion of the San Diego Convention Center and it was nearly impossible to explore the dealer's room in one day. It also had become too darned crowded for my taste.
Sheena Queen of the Jungle
A reprint volume from Blackthorne done in 1985. Contains 5 Sheena stories, filler material and one Tiger Girl story.
Superman 175
I won't even comment on the ridiculous scenario presented here, except to say that it is part of the Weisinger charm.
